Grant writing: I love grant writing. Working closely with you, I will complete your grant application, proposal, or letter of inquiry. I write highly competitive grants for foundations, local/state/federal government agencies, and corporations ensuring a strong narrative, utilizing best-practices of integrating data with storytelling to show impact, and verifying that your entire application package meets the rigorous standards set out by grantors.

Proofreading & Editing: I proofread your grant proposals before you submit them, making sure your message is clear and that you’ve followed the grantmaker’s instructions. A second set of experienced eyes on your proposal is always important.

Bundle it! I offer ongoing contracts among our grant writing services for nonprofit organizations. These six-month to one-year agreements include an array of grant writing services. This means I will research grant opportunities, write highly competitive grant proposals, and participate in debriefs with foundations on rejected proposals. I work to build long-term relationships with foundations following a successful proposal. With these contracts, I act as much more than a writer. I serve as consultant to help ensure the long-term success of the grants program. Plus, the added service of picking Betsey’s Brain or using me as a sounding board for growing your young organization.
